since i got my new card (time ago now) I havent been able to play either RTCW or ET on Fullscreen i have played in a window for really long time even before having this card so no problem really, but now i fell like i wanna change and go full view, maybe i will be able to finally kill someone at long range >_< the problem is, when i go fullscreen, my MONITOR displays a little window that says "out of range, change to 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz" but im already at that resolution on windows!!!!! i have heard/read/something that new nvidia drivers LIMIT the resolution for some reason, so i thougth i migth have to get older driver?? help help my Graphics card is : GeForce 7600 GS 256 Mb PCI Express x16

i have found out that with the ORIGINAL wolfconfig, its ok but if i put my settings or if i use other peoples configs, its goes like that Then you should be able to, by comparing the vid settings for the original and the 'new' config, pinpoint in what setting the problem lies.... If I remember well from some earlier discussion, the nVidia driver is not really the problem, it's a matter of tweaking your graphics/monitor and RTCW-settings!

Before updating the drivers, no prob. Right after updating, problems started and haven't been able to fix them ever since. So that'd point pretty strongly to the drivers.
(Doesn't really matter much tho, playing windowed anyways so i can chat at the same time ;D)

No, it pinpoints the problem to a combination of the new drivers AND your settings (in either Windows or RTCW)! Both can therefore still be the problem... and like I said, if I remember well, there is a way to get it right WITH your new drivers. If I have some spare time, I'll try and find that discussion again!
