More and more often recently, I'm seeing players cheating a vote by slitting their own throats. This allows them as many votes as they want, and allows them to carry any motion they put forward, even if the majority of players are not in favour. My own belief is that anyone doing this should be subject to a verbal warning, then (after a few weeks when everyone knows the rule) an immediate kick. Any excuse that it's only to deal with troublemakers when admins are not around is not entirely true; I see it often when I'm online, and sometimes it's just so someone can skip a map they don't like. It's downright undemocratic, it is! But what's everyone else's opinion? Indeed, do some of you not even consider it cheating? Should it still be allowed? I yield the floor... ^ Wi lk o

Hmm.. I dont think its cheating... Its using a game bugs ;D Surely, its usable only at warmup. Wilko, you think, when smb calls vote, only some players vote, others are ignoring it. So, if only part of players vote, vote will be failed (I saw 5/1 vote what failed at he full server) So, smb must use /kill to end vote. its a life ;D RUS

It seems a bit like exploitation of the game, but i suppose it aint illegal but it is unfair. Of course this problem would hardly ever happen if everyone actually voted. Ive seen there be 15 people ona aserver on less than half of the players voted Its like te elections, you get the chance the vote, so do it

Deadlysky has just said to me that yesterday he was kicked by the server because he used the command "\gib"
But this happened during a match, not during a vote... AND There was no admin in the server...
So it seems to be a server kicking for using \gib.
He went saying that noone can use \gib because will be kicked... and so on..
I told him that he cant use \gib during a vote, but no problem to use it during the match, as we observed. But the explanation for what happened yesterday to him?

/gib gives a -3 score so perhaps low score kicked ps the new s4ndmod on 2.1.2 has following fixes : cannot have +salute set to be on all the time , have to bind it and use it when and where etc no more /vsay dynamitedefuse exploit bug + more to come

This allows them as many votes as they want, and allows them to carry any motion they put forward, even if the majority of players are not in favour. ^ Wi lk o
But it could also come in handy too... If sombody isnt playing by the rules and some people in the server arent voting, it will automatically fail the vote. Could you just make the vote work by majority at the end of its time limit?
