update i am now running the following maps on the 8 player server on trail map sfm (tank map rocket map swf (sub) just added check them out , i will do some tweaks# on them before adding them to the 12 player server latest swf map ,, allies must take the documents to the upper level to the decoder room (this room has a check flag by side of door and a red wheel on the other require more feed back from players thank you rich

- map sfm (tank) has two exits for transmitting the docs?? what kind of feedback do you want?? you want suggestions/opinions? i can give you some... but quite personally i guess: - i like more knife to throw; not for killing but to put on the ground so you can hear an enemy approaching ('click') for example: when you defend a 3-way crossing you put 2 or 3 knifes on one way and concentrate on the other two, works perfect! (cuz you know exactly where he is when you hear the click) - mines are cool! (except on deathmatch) - the maps are great (allthough everybody probably allready knows i get pretty soon excited when the team is not really working together...) but you have many of them, so changing the combination often works fine! there isnt a map where i have never seen someone say: 'i hate this map' so that doesnt mean anything! liking the map mostly depends on what team you are in... about the maps: - swf (sub): if an allie is lucky he gets spawned close to objective and he can run without seeing one axis straight to the 'door with the red wheel' so then the game takes quite short, so maybe the distance could be a bit longer between objective and 'door'... - rocket doesnt have this, but you can actually outrun the enemy by taking the other way (... but thats more like a good chosen strategy - like turning around halfway at /map beach and take the other way) one of the funnyest things i think of this map is to start an ambush by hiding first inside the rocket... well, dont take the floor away... - sfm (tank) one of my favourites! the tank can be very helpfull... as an objective map i think its great the docs are near axis spawn! - cant wait to see other maps transformed into objective maps (...village...?) SOME SAMPLES TAKEN FROM THE OBJECTIVE GAMES:
MAP SFM (TANK) - 2 OBJECTIVES ?? MAP SFM (TANK) - PING? MAP CHATEAU - ouch! .....AND REMEMBER: # NO TEAMKILLING !

hi richard ;D i have some more questions/comments: - i cant find the objective anymore in map swf(sub); or is it just the flag you have to defend now? - map rocket: sometimes if you lose the objective it doesnt reappear 4 rest of the game (but im not sure when exactly) - sometimes there are many messages following eachother, not the server/console messages below but the ones a bit higher in the middle of the screen, like: 'Allies have taken the objective' or 'Seawall has been breached' and 'Axis have secured the objective'; thats no problem untill you use extras like: /thompson, /mine, /smoke a lot and want to see if they are enabled or disabled; if the messages appear you cannot see whether you are going to plant a mine or dynamite, whether you are going to call an airstike or just throw a smokenade, respawn with a thompson or the original mp40... that can be very frustrating if you need to act quick, since you have to wait untill the messages disappear (- its possible to change it) Bye . . c",)

Plant TNT on sub?- sometimes there are many messages following eachother, not .................... thats sooo true, it happens the same for me....also i want to add some screens that someone mygth know, they happend on roket map: i fell off in the rocket area: not very hard to do it really... yous fall

hi re rocket map ,,this is part of map i have not fully fixed (in the sp map this part blows up ,at the end of mission) unfortunately , grenades will destroy the floor around the rocket thus making it a trap for all the unfortunate players who fall down it !! i will get this sorted out ,,when more time allows ps lose the objective ,,, this is if the allied drop it when killed on the tunnel train it some hows eats it up !? MAP SWF (obj) my fault i sent the wrong version to my obj server i have put the death match version into the 12 player i need to replace this with the obj version that we tested on the 8 player but before i do i have thought of some more stuff to add so it will be few more dats yet,, in mean time call vote nextmap or who ever holds the flag wins at time out etc i been sorting out mp_castle for the death match server , so i will make the changes and all will be fine ,,soon ,, ;D

ok its over, im tired.., please post here if you are going to disable voting on obj map and also if bans will come back, untill that i wont play there anymore.... im tired of people that apparently hate me for some reason, that tk me, and call vote to kick me (and i dont know why but i got kicked 5 - 1 or so, it seems that they dont want a player that kills them too much (no lol, this happens when normal players come arround)
so pls post here what is going to happen, till then better dont play....

the obj server plans are
i will put the correct version of swf
add a obj version of xlabs ,
and the map cycle will be something like
mp_beach (2 rounds) mp_depot (1 rounds) mp_chateau (2 rounds) mp_castle (1 round) mp_xlabs (2 rounds) mp_rocket (1 round) mp_boss2 ( 2 rounds) mp sfm (tank) (2 rounds) mp_swf (sub ) (2 rounds)
voting then will be off.
complaintlimit = will be set to 3
this hopefully this week as i been busy
getting 3 maps ready for the deathmatch server
mp_village2 ( new spawns for 18 player game)
ie allied now spawn at the beginning upper part of "main" street
thus giving both teams 2 ways to get to enemy
allied will respawn at the original 8 player spawn start points.
mp_rocket (death match version )
and
mp_castle (death match version , added weapons and
original objectives disabled etc )
so bear with me
as i busy guy ;D

Tip: put this into your wolfconfig_mp.cfg. It changes the function of 3rd mouse-button by pressing F12. The presets are: for Engineers mouse3 will change dynamite to mines and back, for Medics their weapon to seringe and for Lieutenants the airnades to smokenades and back

Rich, Make the forest a objective map It would be pretty cool (Make the Objective be in one the the house places at the BASE{axis spawn at BASE}) Allies have to steal Objective and take all the way back to the BARN

I like the forest map like it is now ::)but if Rich can make it better i agree . It will be better if forest map was a OBJ map.
