shame i was hoping it would be something special to jump onboard with ..... perhaps as the write up says by cutting out mp on solely concentrating on single play it may be enjoyable experience ?

Well ID clearly doesn't give a shit anymore since they are not developing, they are not even producing it... To me personally, and I think for most of us, it never was about the singleplayer. If you look at the Metacritic reviews for RTCW, most say: average SP, the MP is where the game really shines. I guess the developers haven't realized yet or they don't care. 2009's Wolfenstein was very forgettable as well, I think finished but I can't for the life me even remember how it ends. Whatever... there are better games out there, has anyone played Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon? www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dofacvjRkc

I rather see a decent SP then a mess like 2009 was.. I always liked SP, played COD etc but naturally preferred MP.
Problem with MP is, that games like rtcw was, don't draw the crowd as they are too complicated. People just want to load the game and start shooting not carrying about mastering stuff or whatever, so anything that requires more elements to work together is not appealing to today's youth.
