Well assets can be developed over time as nothing can be done over night as I don't have much time neither.
If you're really interested into project we can split the initial load. You can take the engine so i can create a website. There are only few 2 real things needed to be added into engine at start anyway.

Sounds good. I guess the most important things are a new key system and pulling the server list from a new master (really a non issue changing one line). Also a solid update system like you mentioned should be adopted early but this will need some careful planning first. Any thoughts on this?
Also do you have a prefernce in project management? Id lean torwards svn for version control and trac for bug tracking and related stuff but i guess as long as its able to keep track of changes and bug reports any solution is fine with me.

My job lately demands to switch to git but I already have svn server up and running so I see no reason why not to use it. I'll send you all the details in pm later today, after I set all up..

I've fooled around with it a little and set up a test master server. Ones that wish can try and use it. Owners: Just drop or modify this line in your server config: seta sv_master2 "82.192.42.115"For players, read the README in zipped file... Please note 3 things: 1st: This is just an experiment...I may turn it down at any given time...but it's going to be on probably at least for a month so we can see how willing is the community to adjust...on top of that, it's hosted on internal server with crappy connection but should be able to handle it... 2nd: Only servers of which owners will point their game servers to new master list, will be listed..other servers will still be invisible and accessible only by direct connection /connect IP or any other external program etc... 3rd and final: This is my good will so don't push it...if there are any bugs feel free to report it in pm or here or whatever...but don't scream or demand stuff or you'll get kicked in the nuts. @kama I did yes. But there's no point dealing with them. They pulled the plug...even if they get a change of heart and switch it back, who says it wont happen again? As far as I see it, they've done their job. They supported community for 10 years which is a lot for a game...now it's time for community to pick it up or move on. etplayer - check your pm

Here's a permanent solution: s4ndmod.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=573Use that binaries and address any issues on s4ndmod's forum. S4ndmann is pointing it towards darkplaces by name record in domain sever...which will allow him to switch it to any master list and clients wont need to do anything. As for server, you simply sent hearbeat to darkplaces (sv_master2 "dpmaster.deathmask.net") and s4ndmod server. I'll put my temporary server down in a day or two - I'll wait a little so transition is soft.

Nevermind, I found a fixed wolfMP.exe in wolfmp.com. They also seem to have the colored crosshairs I did many years ago, no credit though

I see my maps running with credits taken out and replaced with other crap, or even better, some add one line in a script and then call it their script, I wouldn't mind but that line only says "welcome to my server"- now what an improvement over original script. Anyway, just get used to it.
