Hi
is it same on all euro servers ?
maybe contact your internet provider ( isp ) and ask if something has happened ?
maybe , i know in the UK that certain internet providers put heavy users ( those that exceed download limits ) onto a slower connection as punishment
as a lot of isp allow only 40 GIG download a month
anyways or maybe a problem with computer ?
there are those speed tests online , what are the results of one of those ?
maybe others can post some tips
cheers Rich

When your brother or father is downloading something or uploading something on the internet (usually refereed as sharing - torrents etc.) you will lag to, it also depends of your connection...the best way would be to limit each computer to get only 33% of connection etc...in that way even if both are dl smth you still get your 33perc of internet, it would still raise your ping but would be stable and wouldn't be that high...tho i doubt that's an option as usually ppl don't like having their computer limited.

is it constant lag or is the connection just interrupted for a second every now and then ?
for the small lag use lagometer to see what your connection is doing the cvar would be cg_lagometer 1 (just in case you dont have this enabled)
the small lag is mostly caused by either modem or router or old/bad issolated cabels (i have a similar problem every time i visit my parents home the modem or the router dunno which one is the culprit but one of them)
for constant lag no idea im to be honest after all still a tech-newbie

Well it can be million things really...try as towl said, establish if it's packet lose or you're constantly lagging...second one is usually easier to solve but you can't address the issue until you find what exactly is the issue.
