I remember going to see Final Destination with my school mates, we had no idea what the movie was about. It was awesome, but haven't seen any of the new ones. As for zombie movies, I've got this few years ago for xmas i think with all 3 movies: Before I got it, I had no idea Day of the Dead even existed. I did like it but not as much as the first 2. It's more clautrophobic since they are all the time underground. But Bub the zombie and Capt. Rhodes made the movie great.

yes the final destination movies the twist being that Death itself was the killer/bad guy i remember the day of the dead ( in the underground hanger ) when it ends all the zombies were deliberately let inside the original night of the living dead video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2956447426428748010#or www.archive.org/details/night_of_the_living_deadLuc@s did you ever hear of the old horror movie made in France around 1920 ( not long after ww1 ) in which dead soldiers marched to wards Paris to have revenge on the ones that had sent them to war i remember reading about this film ( which i am sure was a silent movie ) what made it particular harrowing ( scary ) was that the actors were made up of ex soldiers with horrific injuries ( and limbs missing ) i am sure it was banned at the time ? although i may be wrong. cheers Rich

Nop I never heard or considering this film, but so u remember his title, I'd be glad to look. There are soldiers french sent to the wars vs germany who taking revenge?
ps: For me, the movie I saw the most "gore" was the interior (in french it's "De l'intérieur" so the title its just translate his name is the interior) Or REC.

Nop I never heard or considering this film, but so u remember his title, I'd be glad to look. There are soldiers french sent to the wars vs germany who taking revenge ? .found the movie title = J’ACCUSE! (1919) silent French Movie probably one of the very first anti-war movies ? www.fright.com/edge/j%27accuse!_1919.htm quote from article " Abel Gance, a war veteran, conceived J’ACCUSE! around the idea that “if all the dead (of WWI) came back...the war would stop at once.” although the film is reportedly 3 hours long ( most of which is a romance / love triangle ) only at the end of the movie do the dead appear. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- reminds me of how still a lot of modern movies are made (example ) the latest version of "Pearl Harbor" 2.5 hours long with only the last 10 minutes had the action scenes ( at the end !) in trying to please a wider audiences they end up a disappointment to many . back to topic i prefer with horrors to use more atmosphere and tension ( not the gore and slasher type Friday 13th movies ) i think Japan still go for the old fashion way of horror movie making ( one missed call ) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Missed_Call_%282004_film%29 for example as Luc@s says REC was a good movie Spanish made movie ( i don't mind sub titles ) Hollywood remade it also , although i have not seen that version ?

Original or remake? *spoilers* I saw the one with American actors and the only part i got "scared" was then the woman opens the door and finds the girl dead with crazy face in the closet. My friends laughed at me because I said that this movies don't really scare me, but to this day I'm still going to say it didn't scare me. The face of the girl was to f**king laugh, It's the f**king sudden noises that make me jump, and jumps aren't scary... Also my friends told me they almost sh!t their pants when she comes out of the TV, i was It's not scary AT ALL. Things that makes me scared: Anything with needles. Edit: I downloaded Final Destination 2 and 3, only saw the second one so far. Not was good as the first one but "ok" It's got some nice little twists to the formula of people getting killed.

There's also an interesting and thought-provoking movie from year 2008 called "Mirrors" but that's what you probably know already.
Also just looked a movie called "Orphan" like it. It's quite psycho
