Tbh this registry cleaners do more damage then good As for rest, i use nero for normal burning, alcohol for images and deamon for virtulization. PowerISO is nice but you get commercials and crap with it..to extract keygen's or any other files that aren't meant for install or you just need them winrar is good enough

I've had to try fix a lot of PCs that have been a victim of reckless registry cleaning. In most cases it's a really hard thing to do (close to impossible) if there is no backup. The advantages, if any, are small. Wikipedia sums it all up: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registry_cleanerI use the windows-tools that's already there to clean up the start up. ("msconfig" and such) Daemon Tools is the best tool for cdroom emulation. It's easy and does it's job perfectly. Why change?

Thanks chaps for all the replies. pingu i was getting an error with daemon tools and the uninstall wouldnt complete so i needed the registry cleaner to help. Im not computer savvy enough to use regedit without feeling im gonna screw up my registry. I installed ccleaner and it allowed me to create a registry backup so all is good. I also did a system restore point before but not really sure if that can restore the registry or if its just for files (?) Based on all your above feedback ive reinstalled daemon. cheers.
