Hey guys,
My fps on the beach dropped from 100+ to 10. I still have rtcw demo installed to and samething happends there, so 2 differend cfgs both with same problem, so it cant be the cfg.
My thought was the video drivers. So i uninstalled them, used drive sweeper to clean them and reinstalled fresh drivers. No effect.
I have no idea why this is happening.
Do you have any ideas ? or a way to check for errors ?
I have a Pentium4 2.4 and a radeon 9600pro with 128 MB, 768 mb of memory, enough free spaceon my hardrive, windows XP. i did a defragmentation of my hardrive too.

Hey^ On what mod is that happening ? Cause the fps drop is a bug in 2.20 but is fixed in above versions... best you can do is vid_restart or increase hunk megs etc... but i had same issue and i recall it wasn't much i could do- tho on other hand, when it started happening to me was the time when power supply started to given up on me

Yea i didn't have any problem on base neither but beach and assault where disaster, depends also on what resolution you play as wolf can be quite a load on your graphic card... the higher you play the bigger the load is ad with it drains more power supply, on my old pc i had ati 9800xt with 420w supply and 1680x1050 resolution drain my power supply to the point i got crashes and freezes as soon as there was more players on server.
If you aren't already then try using 1024x768 which my render it a little better- it did help me to some playable point.

CPU usage of other apps can reduce the FPS. Try to figure out of some other app eats your resources
