Hi if anyone has used the vlite to make a bootable dvd of windows Vista. I need some help. As I have got proper windows vista setup and I have slipstreamed sp1 in it. I have integrated product/cd key too. Now I want to know which files I need to paste in my i386 folder so when I install Vista it will show activated already. Thanks in advance. Regards, Legend. P.S. I have got windows sever 2008 and I wonder if I can modify throught Vlite and install Vista activation while making bootable iso of sever 2008. So I can make preactivaed sever 2008.

I 1st time hear bout vLite- had to check google Tho i used nLite before and make my own unattended xp- i can't help u with vista as i didn't yet break it down to see how it works but in XP u simply create in root folder called $oem$ and in it u created sub folders called for windows folder $$ and in it sub folders for system32 etc... for program files u created folder called $Progs and rest of sub folders etc... that will always copy any stuff u put in, only thing you'll need to do is to create batch process and use operators for cracking stuff so it's all activated once you will install... operators can be bit*h as sometimes silent ( /s ) doesn't work... u need to visit product support site sometimes and get all the info u need... tho on MSFN forums u have some operators already out.... U can also use WPI installed which creates branches... it's a lil tricky to figure out at 1st but once u get in hang of it it's simple.... i actually only use nLite for serial and drivers, programs and rest i preconfigure to be placed in folders need it and then activated via batches using silent operators: unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/31/etc... i learn a lot of stuff on this side, it gives u all info u need it but in time u become demanding and then want more so you'll need to learn on your own some stuff but for good basic/intermediate install this is good site to start on, i know it's XP but imo it's not much different of vista in principle. Check their forum as there is a lot of stuff in it also, i used it for XP but they have vista board to: www.msfn.org/board/Unattended-Vista-f149.htmlGL! P.S. Just a suggestions, make sure that what ever u install is clean as if u install cracked software that has trojan or any other malware in you'll whole disk will be useless cause of it, and make sure u make bootable disk Hope it helps, L0

Thanks!! ;D I have 2 Vista Discs and both are preactivated and when I browse that disc I found $OEM$ folder and all cracks inside of it. Its exactly same as XP with different crack I guess. I am going to search more and try to make my own Vista. And will give a try to make Server 2008 too with Vlite. Thats for explaning crack process in XP. I have rewritable 10 DVDs so I am not gonna waste my DVD-R's Many Thanks, Legend P.S. Can you please explain me how do you install activation crack in windows xp bootable disc.

This is how u organize your $oem$ folders: unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/18/And this are the installing options (u have more ways to do it): (example for ISObuster program) unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/switch/12/Now to break the stuff down so you'll understand a little better- this is batch scripting (u can use WPI (Windows Post Installer) or or runonceEX or any other stuff etc- but main principle is the same..) batch install: ECHO. ECHO Installing ISOBuster 1.4 ECHO Please wait... start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\ISOBuster\IsoBuster14.exe /VERYSILENT /SP- ECHO. ECHO Killing ISOBuster.exe process taskkill.exe /F /IM isobuster.exe
ECHO... that's dos language... so we'll just get down to important stuff... %systemdrive%\install\Applications\ISOBuster\IsoBuster14.exe /VERYSILENT /SP-
Yellow is location.... The red are operators, that's the thing that will create you the most troubles as every program has it's own supported operators so u need to find the supported one for each progy u want to have installed once you're done.... which is the soul point of unattended, the fact that u don't need to install/crack/register or anything else later on... u do the same with activation stuff, u simply run it after install via batch file... here is the list of few programs with operators...: unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/page/list/switch/U get more on their forum, tho not all u seek will be there, some you'll need to find on your own at manufacture site etc.. U can try this tho: unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/29/Didn't read what's all about so dunno if it's the right thing... but in any case, i never had any windows i need it crack to activate it, always got clean install with serials that pass everything... still can update at any time =p
