Search for your cd with graphic drivers u got when u bought pc, if u can't find it then download it from net.
There are mostly 2 suppliers for graphic cards- for default users ofc... it's either nvidia or ati, go to their site and pick the model u have and system you're using and download that drivers.
If u don't know what graphic card u have then click somewhere on desktop (not on any icon) and simply click on "properties" and new windows will open, click at upper right corner on "settings" and you'll get info what graphic card you're using under "display" since windows usually wind it self the right drivers only additional drivers aren't set the ones that enable fast options u need for game.... Under "display" u get the manufacture of the graphic card as the model u have...
In case u have onboard graphic card then the stuff written above probably wont help and you'll need to google your mainboard model to get all the drivers u need.

graphic card should handle it on 640x480 resolution, i started on same and had no problems, ofc on 800x600 u start to lag slowly but it''s still playable kinda, above 800x600 is totally laggy so no use.
Tho it depends what kinda specifications u have for rest of the pc.. i played on 2.1 amd and 512 memory with that graphic card, on less u may have problems but imo should come thru without any problems on 640x480

if you did install your graphic drivers again, they might be old just find out what graphic card you have and download new/updated drivers from graphic card maker homepage i remember i had same problem once, i downloaded new drivers from net, installed and played the game

Just tell us what graphic card you use and we will find give u link to download and install latest drivers.
The easiest way is to run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool:
Click "Start." On the "Start" menu, click "Run." In the "Open" box, type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks) , and then click "OK." The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the "Display" tab. On the "Display" tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the "Device" section. You can see the name of your card, as well as how much video memory it has.

Just delete the wolfconfigMP.cfg inside your main folder, when you'll run wolf it will create new one, u can then change the keys and other stuff that u use.
