So its been some days since, while playing a game, my TFT just goes back, and a window (from the monitor) comes and tells me Desact. Monitor (which I guess its Deactivating Monitor) And i can hear the sound just getting stuck and i need to reboot.
The thing is, this only happens when I'm playing any game, not when I'm on Windows! I have reinstalled the graphics card drivers to the last ones, i have even install the drivers of the monitor (which i haven't done in this 2 years) I also thought that the PC was overheating or something but no. I also though its a Virus or something, this one i can't say yes or no yet since my Antivirus is dead since few weeks (needs to pay again)
So i just took the TFT away and I plug in my old CRT monitor and see what happens, and yea no problems i could play any games without problem, i did it for like a day no problems. But now, few moments ago, it happened same with this monitor. This time the monitor did not tell me "Deactivating Monitor" i guess it's because its older or something..
So I'm stuck again without any ideas of why only when i run a game, i play it for few minutes and then the screen just goes black and TFT tells me bye bye itself! I have also checked if its like the last time when my Graphics Card f**king burned but no, seems to be fine.

some screens are not plug&play which mostly isn't a problem but in some resolves total mess. U try to play with lower refresh rate what is the brand and model of screen u use? Let me know and i'll ask friend that sells hi tec hardware if it's any known problems with particular model/brand

It sounds like your gfx-card is fcuked in some way. Either the drivers does not work, overheat or some failure on gfx-card itself. It sounds like overheat to me.
Try to update the drivers Try to install new firmware on the gfx-card (if it's supported)

Try playing at a lower resolution. Won't solve the problem at all, but could at least stop the disconnecting until you found whats wrong

i play on a window. And to be honest i dont knwo how i could not see this before: fokkewolf.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=help&action=display&thread=1160491543its happening again, when my first graphics card burned in the begining it all went back then the same drivers recover the graphics back untill it was su fucked up that it was unable to do it anymore. it seems this drivers do no have this hability therefore they dont restore it and i have to reboot honestly i dont know what the fuck am i doing wrong... my first card was ATi 512 mb, it was fucking kickass card and in less than a year it burned, then i buy this nvidia wich is 256 mb not so good as the previous one and then agian in less than a year its fucked up again. so there i go i have to buy new graphics card again for the second time... i dont really knwo what i do wrong i dont game that much as when i had the first one... whatever

It could be over-voltage, that damages your card.

imo it's not power supply- and u can adjust voltage sometimes in bios if not then on mainboard it self. If u have pc always on then it's cuz of that- i didn't turn of my pc for 5 years now (only when electricity went off or things like that). Thing is that u don't have to do nothing on pc but while it's on your cooler still works, and coolers on graphic by default are crap. While they look good they have short life, i recommend u that if graphic is good or when u buy new one u spend 20-40 € more and buy 2 side custom vent with cooler, give 10€ more for cpu thermal past, use it all on both side of graphic and then put vent on. In long run u're a winner. I use it for 3-4 years now and had no problems at all- and i render stuff on daily bases which over heats graphic card very nasty Also i ask for screen, friend said there is no known problems with that monitors so far

nah (EDIT) that's only cooler, u need vent also, what i think with 2 side 'custom' vent and cooler looks like this (my old graphic card): (pic is lame due webcam) this is a live saver and cost nothing comparing to new graphic card, tho they are few things u need to watch when buying it: -FPS of cooler (more fps more noise) -have to fit on your graphic card -which thermal past u use u have both sides connect so heat is transfer from one side to another so u use only 1 cooler (less noise if any at all). When u change cooling vent u have to put thermal past on chips, there are out there pastes that are only for graphic cards but in my practice CPU ones worked the best, i use one with silver in it, it works up to 200 *c and cools down cpu for 20-25 *c so works great for graphic card- u may use graphic one I manage to google this water cooler : www.custompc.co.uk/reviews/100840/cooler-master-aquagate-viva.html#

i have exactly this one on my graphic card- i have cooler also u put it on from side; As for slots, it takes 2 - the one when u put graphic card in (agp, pci-e..) and 1 below, as the slot for graphic card is on top u don't take any space there ;D U rhater buy vent, it's not expensive if u buy only as add-on (like my from side) but u can buy better one and pay lil more U put it on your self, just put that one down and read the manuals (it's simple) and put this one- but don't forget! U need to put thermal past on chips when u put that one down! or heat wont come to vent and chips can overbrun!

I lost english tutorials so i only have chinese and can only watch pictures how to put together but can't read that heroglifs or whateva- so read on site if it's compatible with your graphic card - means if u can put it on (has two slots, so it goes on most cards- but make sure, rather save then sry). If u decide to buy it buy fan with it (ventilator)- one i got is model; ZM-OP1 and here are the pic, how it all should look like: www.trustedreviews.com/peripherals/review/2004/01/28/Zalman-ZM80C-HP-ZMOP1-Graphics-Card-Cooler/p1And u get thermal past with it so u don't need to buy it, u can also buy as add-on to this VGA RAM Heatsinks- that's: www.casecooler.com/zaalvgaramhe.htmlBut u don't need it urgently- i do have them - 8 or 10 actually that's it, recheck the pic, to see what u need- but make sure it fits your graphic card- recheck with what is compatible as i have this on radeon 9800xt which is on agp !! And if it works- here u have on bottom whole cartoon made to how to install it- so u wont say i didn't do nothing for u www.zalman.co.kr/eng/eng_index.asp ;D xD
