Technically speaking the structure of your sentences is off as well __________________ hehehe , you got angry wolfsan cause that is your nature. You learn English thru actively using it and if no one will correct you then you'll learn the wrong stuff I was corrected million of times tho I'm usually just to lazy to to read what I write... so I just type from the head with bunch of mistakes and post it But anyway, if he doesn't want to be corrected so be it, his decision...

i always refer to him as Norman (BASE) BATES ( from Physco movie ) ;D Lol that's good joke And about that english thing English is easy to learn, but to be right by gramma all the time is very hard, because English has very many rules and that takes alot of time to learn them and use them right. Like for me to learn English it is easy and no need to learn some rules, because i don't need them i can write correctly, but some rules are hard and much different logic then my language has, so those rules i just need to learn to be correct.

yep
guys lets try not to be like forums ( mainly USA ones ) where they are constantly feeling the need to correct other people spelling or grammar.
there may be a time and place to do that , but surely not here.
dont know about with other peoples language but now a days with mobile phones the english is cut down by kids so they can type faster and cram more into a message
example
they put "m8" for mate and "gud" for good "2moro" for tomorrow
i am interested to know if other euro/world langauges have also been adapted for the purpose of texting ?

yep, my language is full of adaptive text for the sake of fast messaging... usually looks like 1337 talk but in sense it's pretty much to save time, same in msn- sometimes whole conversation is like 3 words per sentence lol ;D

I think other languages are been adapted for the purpose also, but it's not so widespeard. In Estonian we do cut worlds shorter but we don't use numbers i don't know why cuz it's possible to do so. Oh Well this topic is Offtopic now.

Yep, Sweden have adapted too. Some new "words" are even accepted in the dictionary. I would like to say that I hate when people write like that ("2moro" or "gr8" etc.) but that would probably make me a hypocrite since I myself sometimes use words like "Gonna" or "Fella". Still, I pretend not to and I'll keep bashing those who do. P.S. I'm better in swedish though, rarely uses any short versions of words.
