pay the £6.40 via paypal or debit/credit card
and server is setup instantly !!
( create a account for logging into control panel )
you are emailed a password for control panel
use your username to login in
once logged into control panel
you will see server and ftp ( ftp is for upload/download to server )
and teamspeak ( if you select any )
first thing to do is to scroll down to "edit command line "
in the line it will say " main "
delete main and put a " // "
then start server and you will be able to join ( without the // and you are kicked from server with error .... its a linux 1.1 bug
but the // fixes it and forces server to go to the real Main
folder to access pre installed old avp mod
so far so good .
next
you will need a FTP account or use windows commander
( see LO
)
as we need to upload either the new
or even s4ndmod linux
mod if required.
what we have to do now with the FTP
is to create a new folder called "main" inside this put the mod
and any maps that you wish to run. + server script and map cycle.
then we change the command line again and add a +exec "serverfolder" or what you decide to call it.
( change name of the folder called "server" to something new
to stop fuktards guessing name and download folder to gain access
to rcon pass or admin pass ect
stop/start server ( via control panel )
as i say if worse comes to worse i can with account details
help out. it may sound a bit heavy , but its not so bad when you get going
