voice-activation can be used:
after you set up everything and it works (using key-activation)
when you hear sounds only on headphones, otherwise the sound from teamspeak will be recorded by the microphone and the person who talks hears himself echoing...
Well it sounded allright Richard!

;D hehe... you thought it was funny?? Hermé; untill you use headphones: turn the voice-activation off! I had to mute you all the time because you cause echo's... Probably best key to use is Ctrl Only thing you need to do is go to settings, click sound input / output settings and select: 'Push to talk' and then press set-button to select a talk-key (for example: Ctrl) then press Close and you are done

/\/o it was you ! ! ! ( ;D )... the moment I mute you the echoing stops... the moment I unmute you the echoing returns... I dont say this for no reason: first use key-activation, then if everything works you can go trying out different configs... I also found a way to let mp3-sounds hear without using the mic to record it first, so you can hear mp3-music at about 25.9Kbit; quite cool for letting other ts-ers hear some samples of music or make your own V-say's ( ) To do so: go to your sound-controll panels (either motherboard or soundcard or AIO) Try to find a switch called "Record"... Not only can you put volume higher/lower; you can also change the 'source' of the Record... Normally most people have it set on Microphone (if not you couldnt use teamspeak), but you can change the 'source' to something like "everything you hear" or "stereomix" or "mixit"; now when you set it to this it has a couple of advantages: music is send not via microphone to other people; while you listen music and also transmit you can change volume without other people hearing you change it; changing settings from speaking to transmitting music is not anymore necessary because the only thing you have to do when you start speaking is to put the volume of your mp3-player a bit lower... (otherwise your voice is too soft) You want a picture of a headset? Arent you spanish? A headset is called : "receptor de cabeza" Use a "receptor de cabeza" and no "altavoces" (speakers) ;D /\nybody knows some trick(s) with the key-combos?? what are they for?? Let me know! I am trying to make a key when pressed once you auto-hold push-button and when pressed again it turns off... Like a talk-button, but you dont have to hold it to speak... (could it be possible?)

Hey gman, Any AvP player can use it.....! [glow=yellow,2,300]Download Link[/glow]http://www.goteamspeak.com/downloads.php AvP - Teamspeak was off some days... Reason: (guess what! ) /\nyway: Its back on !! But not anymore under Area 57, but Area 21 !! 0 Download TeamSpeak2 & Install...
1 Open TeamSpeak2 (and Click:)
2 CONNECTION
3 CONNECT
4 LOCAL ADDRESSBOOK (and Insert:)
5 LABEL: DJM
6 SERVER ADDRESS 84.16.227.17:8767
7 NICKNAME: <your RTCW-nickname>
8 (select:) • ANONYMOUS
9 DEFAULT CHANNEL: AvP - Teamspeak #01
10 CHANNEL PASSWORD: avpteamspeak
11 (click:) CONNECT
12 (click:) SETTINGS
13 (click:) SOUND INPUT/OUTPUT SETTINGS
14 VOICE SEND METHOD: • PUSH TO TALK
15 (press:) [Set] And Press the key that you want to use for talking (Note: dont just pick any key... pick a key that you find easy to use and is not allready used by the GAME)
16 (click:) CLOSE
17 Right NOW you should be able to hear / speak, but sometimes it doesnt work right away:
- Check your Volume-controllpanels (some systems have more than one) and check if the microphone is enabled... Dont forget to hold the key for talking... Check if mic is working... Play with the volume-switches...
18 Next time you open TeamSpeak2 you can easily go back to AvP - Teamspeak by opening your Local Addressbook and select: Label DJM Use a Headset! ~ EnJoY ~
